Nick Weir

Nick Weir is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, particularly in the public sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Delivery and Head of Federal Delivery at Legion, Weir previously held senior managerial roles at Amazon Web Services, where responsibilities included leading the Data Science team for the Public Sector. Prior to that, Weir was a Senior Data Scientist at In-Q-Tel, spearheading computer vision projects and the SpaceNet Challenge. Additional experience includes roles as a Health Data Fellow at Insight Data Science, Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University, and Laboratory Technician at Dartmouth College. Weir holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Harvard University and a BA in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College.
