Jeroen Oosterbaan is a seasoned professional in archaeology and academia, currently serving as a PhD candidate at Leiden University since September 2019, focusing on international trade research related to packaging materials. As a self-employed archaeologist since April 2013, Jeroen is involved in significant urban archaeological projects, notably in Deventer. Co-owner of BAN Beroepsregistratie Archeologie Nederland since July 2016, responsibilities include administering assessments for the Actorregister Archeologie.
