Joost van der Sluijs serves as a Senior Advisor for Internal and External Communication at Leiden University’s Faculty of Humanities since February 2019 and has been acting head of the same faculty since October 2021. With a robust background in communication, Joost has held various roles, including Senior Advisor for Internal Communication at Reinier de Graaf Hospital and founder of Joost van der Sluijs Natuurfotografie. Joost's expertise spans workshops in nature photography, internal communication strategy development, and educational roles at institutions such as Haagse Hogeschool. Joost's academic credentials include a Doctoral degree in Communication Science from Utrecht University and advanced training in communication advisory roles. Additionally, Joost initiated KidzKlix to foster children's appreciation for nature through photography.
