Maureen Waterston is Leidos’ Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she is responsible for implementing and enhancing the human capital strategy for the company’s 43,000-employee global workforce.
Before joining Leidos in March 2022, Waterston was vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer at Pratt & Whitney, where she oversaw talent, recruitment, and development; employee and labor relations; compensation and benefits; and diversity & inclusion for the company’s global workforce.
Maureen joined Pratt & Whitney in 1998 and held several positions of increasing responsibility throughout Pratt & Whitney in Canada and the U.S., including vice president, Human Resources for Commercial Engines and Global Services. In 2009, she joined Otis Elevator South Asia Pacific & Gulf Area based in Singapore, and was named vice president, Human Resources for Otis in 2012. She then served as vice president, Human Resources for UTC Building & Industrial Systems, the combined Otis and UTC Climate Controls & Security business units.
Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Brunswick and a master’s degree in industrial relations from the University of Toronto.
