Zach Tejral currently serves as the South Pole Station Winter Site Manager at Leidos since January 2025. Prior to this position, Zach worked as an xEVA Space Suit Engineer with MRI/Jacobs/Amentum from March 2021 to January 2025 and held the role of Senior Satellite Communications Engineer at GHG Corporation between October 2019 and December 2020. Earlier experience includes working as an EVA Systems and Test Engineer at MRI from July 2017 to October 2019, a Payload Integration Engineer at MEI Technologies, Inc. from September 2013 to July 2017, and an Integration and Testing Intern for the OPALS Project at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in late 2012. Zach also completed a Satellite Laser Ranging Internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in mid-2012 and was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Space Physics Research Lab at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2009 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University, a Master of Engineering in Space Operations from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
