Hannes Stockner

Hannes Stockner is a Technical Lead at Skadii, focusing on IoT since March 2020, while also contributing to LEITNER ropeways in the same domain. Previous experience includes serving as Tech Lead at Zopa, where Hannes worked with Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Kotlin from October 2017 to March 2020. Hannes has a rich background as a Software Consultant and a Senior Software Engineer, with expertise in technologies such as Scala, Java, Node.js, Akka, and various databases including MongoDB and Cassandra. Projects have included designing a scalable music platform at Crowdmix, building a unified data platform at British Gas Connected Homes, and enhancing search functionality at Thomson Reuters. Hannes Stockner holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Informatics from Vienna University of Technology and an Academic IT Expert qualification in Software Quality Engineering from MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®.
