Balaji Thiagarajan

As Chief Technology Officer, Balaji leads all our product development efforts, including our financial application suite and business platforms, as well as our Technology Operations, Product Management, and Enterprise Program Management organizations. He is responsible for evolving our technology strategy, capabilities, and organization to effectively deliver on the member-centric, multi-product experience we envision as America’s leading digital marketplace bank.

Prior to joining LendingClub, Balaji was CTO and SVP, Product Development at Change Healthcare, a $3B publicly-traded healthcare technology company. He also held senior technology roles at Uber, Oracle, Skyhigh Networks, Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft. He has extensive experience in leading product management, engineering, and technology operations, and driving innovations across big data, machine learning, mobile, and cloud computing.

Balaji holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Computer Science from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pune.
