Michael J. Ullmer

Michael J. Ullmer, AO is the current Chairman of LendLease, and has previously held senior positions at a number of high-profile organisations.

Ullmer began their career as a Chartered Accountant, before moving into corporate governance. Michael was appointed as a Director of Foster's Limited in 2007, and held this position until 2011. Michael then became Chairman of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, a role they held until 2021.

In 2011, Ullmer was appointed as the Trustee of the National Gallery of Victoria, a position they held until 2021. Michael also served as the Chairman of Schools Connect Australia from 2011 to 2015.

Ullmer has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2007, and was appointed as their Chairman in 2021. Michael is also a member of the European Australian Business Council and was appointed as their Chairman in 2021.
