Adi Berkowitz

Adi Berkowitz is a Junior Engineer at Lev. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at MarketAxess from September 2019 to September 2021. There, they designed and coded features that increased liquidity and client retention on the trading platform - such as a “session” feature that allowed clients to load hundreds of poorly trading instruments which were then automatically matched with counter-parties for increased efficiency. They also expanded MarketAxess' older core Java centric trading system to support new features that utilize new technologies and frameworks such as AWS, React, and Spring Boot.

Adi Berkowitz began their professional journey as an Applications Developer Intern at MarketAxess in June 2018, where they first gained experience in developing event driven micro-services in AWS utilizing technologies and services such as Kinesis, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, Redis, Spring Boot, Datadog (monitoring) and others.

Adi Berkowitz has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Economics from Brandeis University. They also have a certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
