Software company LevaData Inc. has announced that Scott Morgan has joined its leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer. Scott brings more than 20 years of experience leading software and analytical cloud services, and sees plenty of growth opportunities in his new position.
“When I was approached by LevaData, I found their circumstance and their technology and their persona, and the type of relationships that they nurtured with their customers to be really, really intriguing,” he says. “And so it's an edgy technology in the artificial intelligence and cognitive computing space, that has huge market opportunity globally, and a very, very healthy customer base. The more I learned about the company, the more intrigued I was by the opportunity to make an impact with an organization that is already growing rapidly.
Scott is driven to continue that growth, and sees the opportunity to double the size of the company every year for the next three years. He has significant experience in helping to grow and scale companies in the technology space, including in his recent roles with Fourth and Infor, and has learned lessons he wants to implement with LevaData.
“We need to hire fantastic people, and get every single hire and every onboarding sequence right,” he says. “Secondly, I think that we need to do a better job at articulating our value proposition and making a distinction as to what our technology and our framework adds to other transactional systems. And then finally just continuing to evolve our platform, our products and our community.”
Scott has a Masters in Management Science and a Doctorate in Organizational Development from Texas A&M University. He is a proud dad to two sons and a daughter, and his wife is a successful business owner in her own right. Scott enjoys exercising in the morning, and finds it puts him in the right headspace to achieve highly in his work.
