Justin Hume

Justin Hume has a diverse work experience. Justin is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Proserva, where they are responsible for developing teacher preparation and management software. Previously, at Level Company, they held the position of VP of Product Engineering and was involved in building a Saas and Marketplace platform from scratch. Before that, Justin founded Techmate Labs, where they focused on SAAS development for VC-funded startups and enterprises. Justin also founded Techmate Consulting and worked as a Product Manager at AirDev, where they built Bubble-based web applications. In addition to their tech-related roles, Justin worked as an Education Professional at Edmonton Public Schools, teaching coding and financial skills in K-12 classrooms. Prior to their career in the tech industry, Justin served as a full-time Voluntary Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they acquired fluency in Mandarin Chinese and performed various community service activities.

Justin Hume attended the University of Alberta from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in two different fields of study. Justin specialized in Educational/Instructional Technology and also studied Elementary Education and Teaching.
