Guoqing Sun

Guoqing (David) Sun, FCAS, serves as the VP & Sr Director of Product Transformation Solutions at Liberty Mutual Insurance since November 2019, leading cross-regional teams to modernize product systems and enhance pricing sophistication. Previous roles include Global Product Manager and Pricing Manager at Liberty Insurance Ireland, where management of a team of actuaries and data scientists focused on improving product profitability through advanced risk pricing models. Guoqing has extensive experience in actuarial analysis, having worked as a Senior Pricing Analyst and Senior Actuarial Analyst at Liberty Mutual, along with early roles as an Actuarial Intern and Research Assistant. Guoqing holds an Executive MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Bates College, complemented by a year abroad at The London School of Economics.
