Pete Smiddy

Pete Smiddy has over 20 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure solutions, currently serving as a Solutions Engineer at Liberty Mutual Insurance since May 2003. In this role, Pete has acted as a principal designer for major cloud data network systems, providing expert technical support to networking teams. Prior to Liberty Mutual, Pete worked at Lightship Telecom LLC as a Core Network Engineer and NOC technician, focusing on large-scale network maintenance and design. Pete began a career in telecommunications with the United States Air Force, managing and maintaining voice switch systems. Pete holds an Associate's degree in Internet Technology from Southern New Hampshire University and an AAS in Electronic Engineering from the Community College of The Air Force.
