Life Biosciences hires Dr. Joan Mannick as Head of R&D
Life science company Life Biosciences has named Joan Mannick as its new Head of Research and Development. In her new role, Dr. Mannick will oversee the company’s entire portfolio of R&D activities. "Joan's expertise aligns so closely with our vision of pursuing therapies for age-related diseases by targeting the biological causes of aging, and I'm confident she will help us take Life Biosciences to the next level." Dr. Mannick has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Adicet Bio, formerly resTORbio. She has also held senior positions with Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research and Genzyme Corporation, and has been a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and University of Massachusetts Medical School.
