Andrew Murphy

Andrew Murphy has a diverse range of work experience. Andrew started their career at Bravura Solutions, where they worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer and Team Leader for almost 8 years. During their time there, they specialized in integrating with legacy superannuation systems and led a team of 10 developers in developing the ePASS product.

After leaving Bravura Solutions, Andrew joined Minelab Electronics as a Senior Java Web Developer. Andrew was the lead developer on the CTX-3030 metal detector's companion application, which integrated with GPS to track and record metal detecting activity.

Andrew then moved on to ISD Analytics, where they served as a Team Leader and Senior Developer for 3 years. Andrew specialized in predictive analytics using micro-simulation and applied this technology to various areas such as energy and water consumption, community response to bushfire, and the impact of electric cars on the power grid infrastructure.

Andrew then joined EY as a Senior Consultant, focusing on enterprise intelligence and analytics. Andrew played a role in expanding EY's capabilities in this area and remained focused on predictive analytics, particularly in areas involving human behavior.

In 2016, Andrew joined Waterfind Pty Ltd as a Senior Java Developer. Andrew worked on their Water Accounting and Management Platform, which predicted farm water usage and modeled sustainable farming practices based on evapo-transpiration calculations and rainfall.

In 2017, Andrew took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at both Life Whisperer and Presagen. At Life Whisperer, they used AI to assist clinicians in identifying viable embryos in IVF and improve outcomes for couples. At Presagen, they worked on connecting medical data with AI to build globally scalable and unbiased medical products.

Andrew Murphy attended St. Edmunds College from 1998 to 2000. Andrew did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during their time at the school. Andrew later enrolled at Flinders University from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) degree with a focus on Information Technology.
