David McLauchlan

David McLauchlan has had a long and successful career in the technology industry. David is currently the CEO of LIFX, a leading smart lighting company. Prior to LIFX, David was the CEO of Bluedot Innovation, a technology startup accelerator. David has also served as an advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and as a mentor to Innovyz START, one of the largest accelerator programs in Australia.

David McLauchlan holds a Master of Engineering in IT, Telecommunications, and Business Management from the University of South Australia. David also holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering (Hons.) from the University of South Australia, specializing in robotics and microelectronic engineering. David McLauchlan's high school education was completed at St. Ignatius College.
