Dr. Alexander Podlipensky

Dr. Alexander Podlipensky is a highly experienced professional in the field of ultrafast laser systems and optical technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Service and Product Support Engineer at Light Conversion since August 2024, Dr. Podlipensky previously held the position of Senior Territory Sales Manager at MKS Instruments and worked for over a decade at Coherent Inc., where responsibilities included leading teams for high energy ultrafast laser amplifiers and providing field service support for advanced laser systems. Prior experience also includes heading the Scientific Support Group for Ultrashort Laser Pulses at the Max Planck Institute and conducting significant research at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg and the International-Laser-Center in Belarus. Dr. Podlipensky earned a PhD in Physics from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg and holds a diploma in physics with honors from Belarus State University.
