Raven Powers

Raven Powers is an experienced educator and manager with a strong background in teaching and learning support. Currently a Teacher at Richmond Public Schools since August 2019, Raven also serves as Learning Center Manager at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, where responsibilities include creating schedules and informing stakeholders about operations. As a Speech and Language Instructor, Raven has taught numerous children and adults, focusing on language processing skills and independent learning. Additional roles include Study Coach at Penpoint Academic Solutions, providing personalized study sessions, and a previous teaching position at The Andrew P. Stewart Center, where classroom management was emphasized. Raven's earlier career included a Caseworker role with the Robeson County Department of Social Services, showcasing skills in client consultation and service recommendation. Raven holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Hampton University and an M.B.A. from Mercer University.
