Tom Doris

Tom Doris is the current Chief Data Scientist at Liquidnet. Prior to this, they were the CEO of OTAS Technologies from February 2011 to May 2017. Before that, they were a Quant Trading at Marshall Wace from August 2008 to November 2010. Tom also worked as a Quant Developer, Equity Derivatives at Bear Stearns from January 2006 to May 2008. Tom's other previous roles include being a consultant at various financial firms from July 2004 to December 2005 and an R&D Engineer at Intel Corporation from January 2000 to June 2004.

Tom Doris has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Dublin City University and a degree from Rice College in Ennis.

They are on a team with Matt Johnson - Head of Americas Equities, Cheryl Knopp - General Counsel, and Mark Pumfrey - Global Head of Equities. Tom Doris reports to Brian Conroy, CEO.
