Sara Coats

Sara Coats is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Director at the Cooperative Council of NC since March 2023. Additionally, Sara holds the position of Director of Marketing & Agency Relations at Flatlands Jessup Insurance Group and works as a Membership Development Officer at the Local Government Federal Credit Union, both roles commencing in July 2022 and July 2020, respectively. Previously, Sara was the Executive Assistant at the North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children, where efforts focused on providing essential resources to public school students. From November 2014 to July 2018, Sara functioned as the Community Director at the Fill Your Bucket List Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to creating lasting memories for adults with cancer.
