Salvatore Ruggero

Salvatore Ruggero is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in materials characterization and failure analysis. Currently serving as Engineering and Technology Manager at Lockheed Martin since January 2010, Salvatore leads the Test and Special Process section of the Mechanical Engineering Labs. Prior to this role, Salvatore was a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, recognized as a subject matter expert in solving complex failure analysis challenges, and a Senior Mechanical Engineer contributing to chemical analysis and material characterization. Salvatore's earlier experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at Lexmark International, where an international team was successfully led in developing advanced polyimide inkjet flexible circuits. Additionally, Salvatore worked as a Microelectronics Packaging Engineer at Intel, focusing on the selection and qualification of materials for integrated circuits. Educationally, Salvatore holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science from the University of Florida.
