Ron Smith

Ron Smith is a seasoned Information Technology executive with extensive experience in leading IT operations and initiatives across various organizations. At Logistic Services International, Inc., Ron served as the Director of Information Technology, focusing on cloud-based business continuity automation and cybersecurity compliance within NIST 800-171 frameworks. Prior experience at Florida State College at Jacksonville includes roles as Chief Information Officer, Executive Director of IT/Chief Information Security Officer, and Director of Information Technology, where Ron centralized substantial IT budgets, rescued ERP deployments, standardized procurement processes, and modernized network infrastructure. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology at Florida State University, Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Higher Education Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
