Alan Marchiori

Alan Marchiori serves as the Computer Science Department Chair and Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering departments at Bucknell University since July 2013. Prior to this role, Marchiori held positions as a Senior Research Engineer/Scientist at United Technologies Research Center and as a Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines. Early career experience includes roles as a Graduate Intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Software Engineer at MEI, Design Engineer at FreedomPay and TESCO Engineering, and Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University. Marchiori earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical & Computer Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Lafayette College.
