Emmanuel Cannady

Emmanuel Cannady, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Bucknell University and as an Editorial Board Member for Bucknell University Press. Prior to this role, Emmanuel held various positions at the University of Notre Dame, including Doctoral Candidate in Sociology and Assistant Director for Outreach Services at the Gender Relations Center. Emmanuel's teaching experience encompasses courses such as the White Privilege Seminar and the Moreau First-Year Experience Seminar. Additional professional contributions include serving as Assistant Editor for the American Sociological Review and working in various residential director roles at Gonzaga University and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Emmanuel earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
