Neil Smith

Neil is focused on building a finance team that is a trusted partner and advisor to its Long View stakeholders. Prior to his appointment as CFO, Neil supported Long View forecasting and planning processes. Before coming to Long View, Neil spent almost 10 years with Shaw Communications in a variety of management roles. Most recently he was the SVP, Supply Chain, and before that, VP & Controller Consumer and Business. Prior to Shaw, Neil has 18 years of experience with Ernst & Young in Edmonton and Calgary and 2 years with ATCO. Neil has a diverse background in audit & accounting, tax, business finance operations, system processes and supply chain.

Neil is a CA, CPA and a graduated of the University of Alberta business school. He has also completed a one week in-depth mini MBA from the Harvard school of Business.
