Enrique Lopez Alvarez

Enrique Lopez Alvarez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and strategic leadership in the life sciences sector. Since 2008, Enrique has held multiple key roles at Lonza, currently serving as the Global Head of Program Management Academy, where responsibilities include leading global talent management and development initiatives for over 200 project managers. Prior roles at Lonza included Director of Global Program Account Management and Director of Program Management, focusing on operational delivery, strategic decision-making, and customer service excellence. Enrique has also been involved as an angel investor and board member for several companies, including ChemoSapiens and Gurung, while previously working as a manager in health, pharma, and biotech consulting and a senior researcher. Educational credentials include an International MBA from IE Business School and advanced degrees in Clinical Genetics and Molecular Biology.
