Sharon O'Connell

Sharon O'Connell is an experienced Human Resources professional with a career spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as Director of HR Integrated Biologics at Lonza since May 2009, Sharon has held multiple HR leadership roles, including Global HR Business Partner for both Mammalian and Corporate Functions, focusing on aligning HR strategy with business objectives and improving employee satisfaction. Prior experience includes working as an HR Consultant at Jacobs Engineering, managing HR for approximately 1000 employees, and as an HR Administrator/Officer at Grant Thornton LLP, dealing with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues. Sharon holds a Post Graduate degree in Human Resource Management from London Metropolitan University and a BSc in Sociology and Geography from the University of Surrey.
