Julie Turner

Julie Turner is a Strategic Scientific Technical Lead and Interim Head of Operations at Loughborough University, where they have also served in various roles related to radioactive waste advisory. They are currently the President of the Association of University Radiation Protection Officers, a position held since September 2023, and have previously contributed as Treasurer. Julie has extensive experience as a Radiation Protection course tutor at the University of Strathclyde and has consulted on biosafety at the University of Northampton. Their education includes advanced qualifications in radiation protection, biosafety, and leadership from esteemed institutions such as The University of Edinburgh and Loughborough University.
