Cynthia Tom

Cynthia Tom serves as the Director of Human Research Protections at Loyola University Chicago since June 2017, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where positions included Associate Director and Assistant Director in the Office for the Protection of Research Subjects, as well as Research Coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry. Prior to this, Cynthia held the position of Clinical Psychologist - Psychiatric Researcher at Rush University Medical Center. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago.
