Carmela Mattza is an accomplished academic currently serving as a Graduate Advisor and Associate Professor of Spanish at Louisiana State University since August 2012. His responsibilities include syllabus design, teaching, and grading for a diverse range of courses in Spanish, including Medieval and European Civilization, advanced conversation, literary analysis, and special topics in Spanish literature. Carmela has also held roles such as Spanish Language Coordinator and Interim Undergraduate Advisor, and has served as the Graduate Adviser for Hispanic Studies at the LSU Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
