Joel Aron

Joel Aron is an accomplished director of cinematography specializing in lighting and visual effects, currently contributing to Lucasfilm since 1991. In addition to this role, Joel also serves as a CG lighting and VFX supervisor. Joel Aron Photography has been another professional endeavor since 1980, with a focus on photography. During tenure at ILM from 1991 to 2007, Joel acted as CG supervisor and played a crucial role for Disney's stereo 3D conversions of projects such as 'Chicken Little' and 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. Joel also holds expertise as a digital production supervisor in stereo 3D and received education at the College of Marin.
