Svetlana Apalnova

Svetlana Apalnova currently serves as the Head of the Procurement Department for Major Projects in Downstream at LUKOIL since 2018, having previously held the position of Head of Project Finance Department and Head of Project Management Office within the same company. Prior to LUKOIL, Svetlana worked at «Газпром нефть» as Deputy Project Director and Head of Contracts and Bidding for significant projects at the Omsk Refinery, and held the position of Contracts Manager at Baltic Urea Plant LLC and United Petrochemical Company for multiple projects. Earlier experience includes roles at SIBUR as a Senior Contracts Expert and at GE as a Commercial Manager. Svetlana's education includes a Master of Science in International Economic Relations from Moscow State Institute of International Relations and additional certifications in contract management and negotiation from FIDIC and Harvard Business School, respectively.
