Matt Downs

Matt Downs is a member of the BCBS Ventures team. He is a Managing Director of Sandbox Industries which provides the investment management services to the BCBS Venture Funds. He is passionate about helping Blue Venture portfolio companies grow.

​He currently serves on the board of Aspire, Lumeris, Solera Health, Lumiata, Capson, and Myca. Prior to joining Sandbox, he worked at Highland Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley. He received his BA from BYU and MBA from Stanford.
