Lunchbox, the omnichannel platform simplifying digital ordering for restaurants, has announced that it has hired Sarah Kabakoff, as VP of Solutions. In the role, Kabakoff will oversee Lunchbox’s go-to-market strategy as the company looks to help free restaurants from the fees associated with third-party online ordering platforms. Kabakoff will be based out of Cincinnati, OH and report directly to Lunchbox CEO/Co-Founder Nabeel Alamgir.
“Sarah brings a highly valuable skill-set that will be integral to the next phase of our growth,” said Alamgir. “We are excited to learn from her experience from Toast and NCR, two companies we respect and want to emulate. Adding her to the company is going to propel us to our next phase. I also hear she is amazing in Vegas, especially at the baccarat table, which means she will crush our industry trade shows.”
Kabakoff has over 24 years of experience in restaurant technology. She most recently served as the Director of Enterprise Solutions Engineering at Toast, where she delivered enterprise-level solutions that allowed partner brands like Jamba Juice, ThinkFoodGroup, and B.Good to operate efficiently and scale. Before her time at Toast, Kabakoff worked at NCR and Zipscene.
“Lunchbox’s focus on personalized guest experience is bringing sales and data back where it belongs - in the hands of the restaurant, not third parties,” says Kabakoff. “Lunchbox is poised to become the leader in digital ordering with their powerful enterprise-grade software and amazing customer experience, and I’m excited to join them as they continue to challenge the status quo in the restaurant industry.”
Zabkoff strong industry experience was recently recognized in Hospital Technology’s Top Women in Restaurant Technology list. She also brings representation for the LGBTQ+ community to Lunchbox’s diverse team and has served on the board of the Heartland Trans Wellness group in Cincinnati, OH.
