Marco Chini is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in geophysics and seismology. Currently serving as Lead Research and Technology Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) since January 2015, Marco has also held positions as Senior Research and Technology Associate and Research and Technology Associate at LIST. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Researcher at the Centre de Recherche Publique Gabriel Lippmann from January 2013 to December 2014, as well as roles as Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia from January 2008 to December 2012. Marco's academic background encompasses a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (2005-2007) and a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma (1993-2003).
