Alex Bayeh

Alex Bayeh, PhD, is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations in the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as Data Science Manager at LyondellBasell since 2020, Alex previously held positions at Shell in 2020 focusing on NLP and machine learning for upstream operations, and at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from 2017 to 2019, where Alex advanced data science initiatives including leading a team to leverage hardware accelerators and automate well log interpretation. Earlier experience includes a role as Data Science Consultant at Tessella, where Alex developed informatics systems for a major chemical additives company. Alex holds a B.S., M.S., and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
