Peter Cureton

Peter Cureton has over 20 years of private equity, operating and restructuring experience across a variety of industries.


Most recently, Peter was the Chief Executive Officer of LOFA Industries, a designer and manufacturer of advanced control systems for industrial equipment. While at LOFA, Peter led a multi-faceted growth strategy, resulting in 90% revenue growth and 600 bps improvement in operating margin, culminating in a successful sale of the company to a private equity firm.


From 2011 to 2014, Peter led control private equity investments for Odyssey Investment Partners, a $2 billion private equity fund focused on the Energy, Industrial and Business Services segments.


Prior to Odyssey, Peter spent eight years at Irving Place Capital, where he led numerous platform investments in the Energy, Industrial and Consumer segments. During his tenure at Irving Place Capital, Peter was responsible for over $600 million of equity investments, which generated a gross IRR of over 40%.


From 1998-2000, Peter was an Associate at Wellspring Capital, where he was a member of an investment team focused on acquiring companies out of bankruptcy.


Over the course of his career, Peter has served on the Board of Directors of Image Manufacturing Group, LOFA Industries, Integrated Power Services, CH4 Energy, Rimrock Energy, Gill Services, Aearo Safety Products, Transamerican Auto Parts, Seven For All Mankind, Vitamin Shoppe, Paragon Trade Brands and The Hockey Company.


Peter earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2002 and received an A.B. with honors in Economics from Princeton University in 1996.
