John Vela

John is currently a manager on the portfolio development team at M12. He joined from Microsoft’s Enterprise Services organization where he worked with clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space to support their IT infrastructure and cloud migration efforts. Prior to that, John worked as a business development manager in Microsoft’s public sector vertical focused on sales enablement and go-to-market strategy. He has also worked part-time in growth and operations at an early-stage startup and co-founded a nonprofit, The Backpacks Foundation, where he leads new expansion initiatives. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.
