Kalen Pilkington is a co-founder of Minim Zero, where innovative nanotechnology solutions are developed for deicing and anti-icing applications in aviation. Since 2015, Kalen has served as a sessional instructor at MacEwan University and held multiple roles, including Director of Community Relations & Sustainability and Director of Sustainability, focusing on sustainable operations, community partnerships, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Kalen also operates KEP Sustainable Consulting, providing advisory services on sustainability strategy and planning. Previous experience includes co-founding Twisted Wood Guitars, serving as Sustainability Coordinator for the City of St. Albert, and various roles in environmental planning and research. Kalen's academic qualifications include a Master's in Environment and Sustainability, an MBA with a focus on Sustainability and Leadership, and an Honours BA in Sociology, Geography, Global Studies, and Business.
