Brian Newman

Brian Newman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the consumer, gaming, and leisure sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Macquarie Group since 2019, Brian previously held the position of Director at Stifel Financial Corp. from 2012 to 2019, focusing on the Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Group. Prior experience includes a role in the Private Debt Group at Ares Management, where responsibilities involved evaluating and executing debt and equity investments, and an Analyst position in the Corporate Restructuring Group at Miller Buckfire from 2009 to 2011. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School.
