Maia Mathieson

Maia Mathieson is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director at Macquarie Group since October 2012, specializing in Smart Beta, Risk Premium, ESG, and Volatility Strategies across various asset classes, as well as carbon-linked investments and offset solutions for institutional investors. Prior to this role, Maia Mathieson worked at Goldman Sachs from July 2008 to October 2012 in Commodity Investor Sales, focusing on commodity indices and structured products. Earlier in career, Maia Mathieson gained experience in Tax Management Consulting at Deloitte from September 2004 to March 2005. Maia Mathieson holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 2005 and 2008, and previously attended Haberdashers' Aske's School from 1991 to 2004.
