Misha Govshteyn

Misha Govshteyn is the current CEO at MacroFab. Prior to this, they were the Founder & SVP of Products/Marketing at Alert Logic from November 2001 to June 2018. During their time there, they developed new leadership teams and restructured Product Management, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing and Corporate Communications programs. Misha also led the deal team in the Click Security acquisition. Before that, Misha was the Director of Managed Services at Reliant Energy Communications from January 2000 to December 2001. There, they mentored Distil Networks (raised $50M+), ZeroVM (acquired by Rackspace) and BitFusion (raised $8M+). Misha also spent some time as a Mentor at Techstars from January 2012 to November 2016, where they again mentored Distil Networks (raised $50M+), ZeroVM (acquired by Rackspace) and BitFusion (raised $8M+). Prior to that, Misha was the Director of Advanced Technical Services at Insync Internet Services from January 1996 to December 2000.

Misha Govshteyn graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in computer science.
