Vladimir Popov

Vladimir Popov is an accomplished color artist with extensive experience in the comic book industry, currently working at Mad Cave Studios since January 2024. Popov has contributed as a color artist for notable companies including Dark Horse Comics, where achievements include co-creating the mini-series "StarShip Dawn" and the acclaimed "Where Monsters Live," and Vault Comics, with projects like "DeadBox" and the award-winning "Last Book You'll Ever Read." Additionally, Popov has worked with Z2 Comics on various graphic novels and has experience with publishers like Storm King Comics, Scout Comics & Entertainment, Heavy Metal, and BOOM! Studios. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Transdisciplinary Arts and Media, as well as master's and undergraduate degrees in Computer Science, focused on computer graphics.
