Will Beam

Will Beam is the Managing Director of Investments at Magnolia Capital. Will has been with the company since April 2018 and is responsible for growing and mentoring the Investments Team of nine professionals, creating new investment strategies/products, assisting with capital raising efforts, and acquiring/financing/disposing of investments for multiple clients across the risk spectrum.

During their time at Magnolia Capital, Will has assisted in raising $1.2 billion in equity ($4.0 billion GAV) across five multi-family and single-family joint ventures with global institutional investment firms. Will has also acquired, financed, and/or sold 20 multi-family investments totaling $1.8 billion GAV and 6,773 units in ten markets across the U.S. Additionally, Will has researched, sourced, negotiated, and closed two single-family rental aggregation debt facilities totaling $535 million in financing.

Will has also set up acquisition processes, underwriting models, and sourcing channels for multiple single-family rental aggregation strategies in conjunction with Magnolia’s single-family rental property management arm, National Home Rentals. Will currently chairs the Oversight Committee (evaluates Major Decisions for assets) and participates on the firm’s Principal and Management Committees.

Will Beam graduated with a BSBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Will then went on to earn their MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
