John Foreman

Chief Product Officer at Mailchimp

As Mailchimp’s Chief Product Officer, John Foreman develops Mailchimp’s product strategy and oversees product execution and innovation for the company. Since joining Mailchimp in 2011, John has worked to expand Mailchimp beyond email into an all-in-one marketing platform for small business. His work includes managing the company’s relationships with technology partners such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter. Given his data science background, he also owns Mailchimp’s intelligent platform strategy which leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to help small businesses become smarter marketers. Before coming to Mailchimp, Foreman studied mathematics at the University of Georgia and completed his graduate studies in applied mathematics at MIT. He’s worked with the NSA, IRS, DoD, Coca-Cola, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and Royal Caribbean International. He’s also the author of the bestselling data science book, Data Smart.
