Jeanie Kim Carpenter

Jeanie Kim Carpenter is the SVP of Physician Network Operations at Maimonides Medical Center. Jeanie has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on developing and managing physician networks.

Jeanie started their career in 1987 as a manager at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Jeanie then spent 15 years at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where they rose to the position of Director of Primary Care Services. In 2008, they joined the University of Pennsylvania Health System as Director of Network Development and Affiliations.

In 2014, Jeanie left Penn to join Inspira Health Network as Practice Director of the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute. Jeanie was responsible for developing and overseeing an orthopedic practice in South Jersey. In 2017, they joined Wills Eye Hospital as Director of Physician Integration and Specialty Services. In this role, they integrated private physician practices and transitioned physicians, staff, office space, EMR, billing and other processes, essentially creating a faculty practice plan.

Jeanie has been with Maimonides Medical Center since 2021.

Jeanie Kim Carpenter has a Master's in Health Services Administration from Cornell University's Sloan Program, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Society from Cornell University, and is certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

They are on a team with Barry Stern - President & CEO, New York Community Hospital, David I. Cohen - EVP, Population Health & Academic Affairs, and Gennie Sanchez - SVP, Supply Chain. Jeanie Kim Carpenter reports to Kenneth D. Gibbs, President & CEO.
