David Utrobin

David Utrobin is currently the Core Community Lead at MakerDAO. Prior to this, they served as the Community Development Lead at MakerDAO from November 2018 to May 2021. In this role, David was responsible for the planning and development of various projects and initiatives that aid in the growth of the MakerDAO community. David worked closely with MakerDAO contributors to scope out work, manage resourcing, drive project flows, support team culture, and facilitate the delivery and overall success of the programs and initiatives.

Before joining MakerDAO, David was the Operations Manager at Vitozon from February 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of operations and management at Vitozon. David oversaw a team of employees and volunteers and was responsible for ensuring that all operations ran smoothly.

Prior to their work at Vitozon, David interned at New York Cares from September 2015 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing volunteers and evaluating their performance. David also assisted with event planning and execution.

David has also held positions as an Administrator at Baruch College from September 2015 to July 2017 and as a Cashier at Sardis Restaurant from December 2013 to June 2015.

David Utrobin has a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Baruch College.
