Susanna Lehtinen-Jacks is a University Lecturer in public health sciences at Mälardalen University since October 2020, following a part-time deputy position. With significant experience in epidemiology, Lehtinen-Jacks has served as a Docent at Tampere University since 2015 and holds leadership roles in the European Association for the Study of Obesity, including Co-chair of the Public Health Task Force. Previous positions include University Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Tampere and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Gothenburg. Lehtinen-Jacks has also contributed to national health initiatives as a member of the expert group for the National Obesity Programme and has held various positions at the Finnish Association for the Study of Obesity from 2007 to 2013. Educational background includes an MD and PhD in medicine with a specialization in epidemiology from the University of Tampere.
