Ian started their career at Yahoo as a Senior Product Manager, where they played a key role in building websites and apps for various entertainment and information products. Ian then moved on to become the Director of Yahoo Sports, where they were responsible for managing Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Esports, Yahoo Fantasy Sports, and Yahoo Cricket sites across multiple regions.

After their tenure at Yahoo, Ian joined DUGOUT as the Chief Content Officer (interim CCO & CMO), overseeing the creation and commercialization of content marketing and branded content. Ian successfully built a modern and data-driven team from scratch, working with numerous football clubs and federations.

Ian later joined Fenixx as a Co-Founder, focusing on creating affordable and relevant branded content experiences for brands.
