Juan Felipe Jaramillo Alvarez

Juan Felipe Jaramillo Alvarez is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Projects at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since August 2018. Previously, Juan Felipe held the position of Area Director of Engineering for the Middle East at Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas from September 2012 to August 2018, and was the Director of Engineering at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort. Prior experience includes serving as the Acting Director of Engineering at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Rose Hall, Jamaica, and Chief Engineer at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort. Juan Felipe began a career in engineering at O-I Zipaquira, progressing from Quality Manager to SPC Manager and Manufacturing Unit Manager from 2000 to 2005. Juan Felipe obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad EAFIT, completing studies from 1993 to 2000.
